Otto Addo appointed Ghana manager for important 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers

The Ghana national team has settled on a manager to replace dismissed coach Milovan Rajevac ahead of the Black Stars’ final round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures against Nigeria, hiring Borussia Dortmund assistant Otto Addo for the two-legged playoff in March. The German-born former Ghana national team member was appointed on an interim basis and has plenty of experience as an assistant in German football with Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Hamburger SV. Addo was an assistant to Rajevac and will count on former Netherlands national team player, George Boateng, as his assistant.
