Senegal’s victory over Egypt at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final last Sunday has set up a dramatic final round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying since the two teams were drawn against each other for a two-legged tie taking place in March. For the massive showdown, it appears that Senegal will be dealing with a hostile crowd in Cairo following an announcement from the Egyptian Football Association that 50,000 supporters will be allowed in for Egypt’s home leg. Egypt will host the first leg on March 24 before the teams meet again in Senegal on March 29.
