Munetsi speaks on Fifa ban

Zimbabwe national team and Stade Reims midfielder Marshall Munetsi spoke out about the recent news that Zimbabwe have been suspended from international competition with FIFA taking action due to government interference in the country’s footballing affairs. Munetsi took to Twitter to comment on his sadness that Zimbabwean footballers will miss out on valuable international matches while expressing his concern that the combination of the suspension with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic could result in hampered development for a generation of the country’s footballers.
