Al Ahly suffered another setback in their CAF Champions League campaign with their second consecutive loss to South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns but there are still two Group A matches left for the reigning champions. With two games left against Sudanese opposition in Cairo, Ahly manager Pitso Mosimane expressed optimism that his team will get the job done and demanded that they win their matches against Al-Hilal and Al-Merrikh to gain momentum for the knockout rounds.
Ahly are currently tied with Hilal and Merrikh on four points with one spot to fight for between the three teams while Sundowns have first place all but wrapped up.
