Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions convened for their first training session on Monday under new manager Rigobert Song to prepare for their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff against Algeria. The first group of players arrived in Douala and underwent a light session on the grounds of the Japoma Stadium behind closed doors. The team was boosted by the arrival of starting goalkeeper André Onana, who was involved in a frightening car accident but fortunately suffered no injuries.
