FC Nantes central midfielder Samuel Moutoussamy, a projected starter in the midfield for DR Congo, will be unavailable for the Leopards’ 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying tie against Morocco due to an ankle injury. The 25-year-old Paris native started five of six matches as DR Congo finished top of Group J but suffered the injury over the weekend in Nantes’ 1-0 Ligue 1 defeat to Lille.
