Tunisia squeaked by Mali in the qualifying playoff for the 2022 FIFA World Cup but after accomplishing the primary mission, it is time for the Carthage Eagles and manager Jalel Kadri to improve the team’s capabilities so that they can be more than just another team in Qatar. After being named as the permanent manager after leading the team on an interim basis, Kadri will be counting on a team that has many players based in the Middle East and in North African football with fewer based in European football.
