The goals keep on coming from giant Kenyan striker Michael Olunga, who came through for Qatari club Al-Duhail in their 1-0 AFC Champions League victory over Iran’s Sepahan on Sunday. The 28-year-old stooped down to head in a cross from Qatar national team star Almoez Ali in the 84th minute to give Duhail their first three points in the group stage, leaving all four teams in Group D even on three points through two rounds.
Duhail will be focused on qualifying to the knockout stage after strong performances saw the club capture Qatar’s domestic cup competition, the Emir Cup, where Olunga scored in a 5-1 victory in the final.
