21-year-old midfielder Edmund Addo has had a breakout 2021-22 season, establishing himself in top Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol and playing a starring role in their noise-making UEFA Champions League campaign on his way to being named in Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations squad. Addo’s agent, Oliver Arthur, told Ghanaian television that it is “95% set” that his client will leave at the end of the current campaign with numerous offers from clubs in countries such as Netherlands, Serbia and Belgium.
Addo has 30 appearances in all competitions this season for Sheriff, who currently have an 8-point lead at the top of the Moldovan National Division.
