Nigeria national team star forward Victor Osimhen has managed to have a solid second season with Napoli in Italy’s Serie A despite a nasty facial injury earlier this season and the 23-year-old was a major contributor in his club’s 6-1 destruction of Sassuolo on Saturday. Osimhen scored the second goal for the hosts in the 15th minute and soon followed that up with an assist for Hirving Lozano’s strike in the 19th minute as Napoli cruised to an easy three points.
Napoli are four points back of current Serie A leaders AC Milan, in third place on 70 points with three games left to play. Osimhen has 13 goals and 2 assists in 24 Serie A appearances to go along with 4 goals in 5 matches during the team’s UEFA Europa League campaign. Watch his contributions in the video below.
