22-year-old Malian midfielder Cheick Doucouré completed a big money move to the English Premier League on Monday with his transfer to Crystal Palace, arriving for a reported fee of €21.3 million. Doucouré arrives from French Ligue 1 side RC Lens where he made 128 appearances and scored 8 goals over four seasons, helping the club earn promotion from Ligue 2 following the 2019-20 season. Joining on a five-year contract the rising central midfielder is expected to be an important part of the Crystal Palace side as they attempt to improve on their status as a mid-table club in England’s top division.
