It was not the best of starts for the Ghana U-20 national team as they embarked on preparations for Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifying in their first exhibition match on Tuesday, but the Black Satellites came back from an early deficit to defeat Division One side Tema Youth. King Faisal’s Zubairu Ibrahim equalized for Ghana before Tamale City FC player Yahaya Mohammed completed the comeback with a second half winner.
Ghana have two more preparation matches on the schedule against Heart of Lions and academy club Euro Africa before they travel to Niger for the competition that starts on May 7. Mahama Shaibu has more on Tuesday’s victory over Tema Youth.
