Chancel Mbemba has gone the full ninety minutes in every FC Porto match in 2022 and the DR Congo national team center back was rewarded for his efforts with the Best Defender award for January in the Portuguese Primeira Liga. Mbemba’s team are six points clear of Sporting CP at the top of Portugal’s first division, having yet to lose so far this year.
