Ghana national team captain André Ayew captured his first league title at club level on Monday as his team Al Sadd comfortably secured top honors in the Qatar Stars League with four games to spare following an 8-2 victory over Al Ahli Doha. Ayew came on as a substitute at halftime with Al Sadd already up 5-0 and added to Al Ahly’s misery with two goals. The 32-year-old scored 14 goals in 17 league appearances since making his debut for Al Sadd last September.
