The Madagascar national team claim to be in a better place heading into their final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger at home as they need a victory to have a shot at qualification. Following a morale-crushing 4-0 defeat in Ethiopia on Wednesday the Barea are grateful to be back home with manager Nicolas Dupuis taking time to mention how much more ideal the training conditions are compared to their preparations for Ethiopia.
Niger manager Jean-Michel Cavalli stressed that the eliminated Menas will be playing for pride and to end a poor campaign on a positive note. Following their 3-0 defeat to Ivory Coast, Niger have now only scored three goals from five matches while conceding thirteen.
