Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi was forced into a premature exit from the Nigeria national team camp due to a positive test for Covid-19. Iwobi was unable to make an appearance in the Super Eagles’ 1-0 victory over Benin due to the positive test occurring before the game and left to return to England with no visible symptoms. Nigeria will take on Lesotho in their final AFCON qualifying match on Tuesday.
