21-year-old Senegalese striker Moussa Djitté completed a transfer to Major League Soccer expansion side Austin FC from French Ligue 2 side Grenoble per an announcement from the Texan club on Wednesday. Djitté will immediately be a contender for playing time as the team struggles mightily for goals and has multiple injuries in the forward department. Having experience with the Senegal Under-20 and Under-23 national teams, Djitté’s prior clubs include ASC Niarry Tally in his native country, FC Sion in Switzerland as well as Grenoble. Djitté scored 18 goals in 85 appearances during his time in Europe.
