Ghana national team left back Gideon Mensah secured a loan move to Ligue 1 football following his move from Red Bull Salzburg to Bordeaux this week. The 23-year-old has spent five years at the Austrian giants but after spending time with Red Bull Salzburg’s reserve side, FC Liefering, this marks the third straight season that Mensah has been loaned out with previous spells in Austria with Sturm Graz as well as time in Belgium with Zulte Waregem and last season with Vitória de Guimarães.
