Nasarawa United’s successful Nigeria Professional Football League campaign saw them finish in fourth place and talented young defender Franklin Tebo played a big part in the central Nigerian club’s ascension. The 21-year-old will now have an opportunity in European football with news that Tebo has secured a one-year loan deal with Swedish Allsvenskan side BK Häcken. The loan deal will have an option for Häcken to purchase the defender permanently if he can impress. Tebo made his debut for the Nigeria national team in a 4-0 friendly defeat to Mexico in July, playing 25 minutes in a Nigerian lineup composed entirely of domestic-based players.
