A successful spell in Turkey has led to Ghana national team striker Caleb Ekuban’s return to the country of his birth, Italy, for the next step of his footballing career. The 27-year-old signed a three year contract with Serie A side Genoa with the Italian club paying a reported €1.8 million to Trabzonspor for his transfer. Ekuban scored 20 goals in 83 league appearances for the Turkish club and previously spent several years in lower league football in Italy before having spells in Albania and with Leeds United in England.
