Coach Jacob “Ghost” Mulee and his Kenya side are looking to start their FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign on a positive note with the Harambee Stars gaffer naming a 36-player provisional squad ahead of matches against Uganda and Rwanda. KAA Gent center back Joseph Okumu and Qatar-based striker Michael Olunga headline the squad while Simba SC defender Joash Onyango and Victor Wanyama make up the notable absences for Kenya, who host Uganda on September 2 before travelling to Kigali for the Rwanda match three days later.
