On his second start for new club Sharjah FC, Congolese striker Ben Malango found the net for his first goal in the UAE Pro League on Thursday. The 27-year-old received a pass from former Everton and Brazil winger Bernard before firing into the net to provide the only goal in Sharjah’s 0-1 road victory over Al Dhafra. Malango joined Sharjah after a hugely successful season with Morocco’s Raja Casablanca, where he scored 22 goals in 37 appearances and helped the Green Eagles to the CAF Confederation Cup title.
