Senegal are fully focused on getting their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign off to a winning start against Togo at home on Wednesday. The Teranga Lions are heavily favored to win Group H, which includes Togo as well as Namibia and Republic of Congo, and three points against Les Eperviers will be fully expected. In its preview of the match, SuperSport brings up the fact that Togo shocked Senegal en route to their only World Cup appearance in 2006, but that this time around Togo and manager Paulo Duarte are more focused on rebuilding a struggling squad rather than trying to accomplish qualification.
