FIFA pledges South Sudan support, with focus on female youth

FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura led a delegation into South Sudan to continue FIFA’s work in helping to further build women’s football and youth football in the country late last week. The delegation met with South Sudanese government officials and emphasized the high proportion of the country’s population that is under forty years old in its work to boost the progress of women’s football and the organization of grassroots football to help younger players fulfill their ambitions.
