Two prominent Nigerian strikers now have four goals early on in their respective seasons as Genk’s Paul Onuachu and Al-Shabab’s Odion Ighalo tallied over the weekend. Ighalo scored in the 3rd minute to help Al-Shabab earn their first win in four matches in the early stages of the Saudi Pro League as they defeated Al-Hazem 2-0. Onuachu converted from the penalty spot to give Genk the lead against Belgian Pro League newcomers Royal Union SG, but the upstarts equalized in the dying seconds for a 1-1 draw.
