Ahly duo Sherif, Afsha out of Egypt’s final squad for Libya double-header

Egypt national team manager Carlos Queiroz has made the confusing decision to go without two of the 2020-21 Egyptian Premier League’s most in-form stars for the Pharoahs’ two upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Libya. League top scorer and Al Ahly forward Mohamed Sherif was left out of the final list as well as Ahly playmaker Mohamed Magdy Afsha, despite Sherif scoring both goals in Egypt’s 2-0 tune up friendly victory over Liberia on Thursday.
