Watford and Nigeria national team midfielder Oghenekaro Peter Etebo will be out until the new year with a torn quad muscle after suffering the injury against Newcastle United in English Premier League play. The 25-year-old on loan from EFL Championship side Stoke City will be missing from the Super Eagles squad for the remainder of their FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign as well as the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
