Rwandan footballing body FERWAFA announced that the Rwanda national team will take part in two friendly matches against Guinea as the West African nation makes its final preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. The Nationale Syli are currently carrying out a pre-tournament camp in Rwanda and will take on Rwanda on January 2 and on January 6. Guinea are in Group B with Senegal, Zimbabwe and Malawi and begin AFCON play against Malawi on January 10 in Bafoussam.
