BBC Sport Africa reports that the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations will be the first edition where Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will be used for all matches at the competition. Previously VAR was used from only the quarterfinal stage and beyond, but CAF is intending to highlight its commitment to increase the refereeing standards of African football.
