Former Bristol City youth product Joseph Wollacott had to play on loan in the semi-pro division of English football before getting an opportunity at the professional level, but his perseverance has led the 25-year-old to fortune at club and national team level. Wollacott’s performances at League Two side Swindon Town brought him a call-up to the country of his mother, Ghana, and the keeper has taken advantage to establish himself as a starter for the Black Stars.
