Since making his big move from Simba SC to African champions Al Ahly for the 2021-22 Egyptian Premier League season, the adjustment has been difficult for LuÃs Miquissone but the Mozambique national team forward took advantage of a rare start to score his first two goals for Ahly en route to their 4-0 thrashing of Misr Lel Makkasa on Tuesday. Miquissone’s 13th and 15th minute goals set the tone for Ahly’s dominance despite rotating many players into the starting lineup. Ziad Tarek and Hussein El Shahat added their own goals to help Ahly move back into first place on the league table with two points separating them from Pyramids FC.
