Gambia team members speak out about being unable to play AFCON qualifier at home

Many African national teams remain unable to host home fixtures due to insufficient stadiums and the issue will be highlighted during the preliminary round of qualifying for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations when The Gambia face Chad. Both teams are set to play their respective home legs in other countries but for a Gambia side that impressed so much at the 2021 AFCON, the news hits particularly hard.
