Cameroon’s hopes of qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup have suffered a blow with news that Napoli central midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa will be absent due to injury for the Indomitable Lions’ matchup against Algeria. After completing a full match for Napoli in their 2-1 Serie A victory over Udinese, the revelation came from Cameroon team media officer Serge Guiffo that Anguissa will be unavailable for both legs of the playoff tie. Veteran midfielder Arnaud Djoum, based in Cyprus, will replace Anguissa in the squad.
