Namibia approves bid to co-host 2027 Afcon with Botswana

COSAFA members Botswana and Namibia have joined forces in a bid to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations after Namibia Minister of Information and Communication Technology Peya Mushelenga announced over the weekend that the country has set aside funds if the bid is approved. The neighboring countries are set for a 60-40 split when it comes to contributing resources with Botswana shouldering the 60 percent and 40 percent from Namibia.
