Cédric Bakambu and DR Congo look to upset the odds in Morocco

Following a 1-1 draw at home in the first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff duel with Morocco, the odds are against DR Congo to get the result they need in Casablanca on Tuesday but the Leopards are ready to fight for a precious spot in Qatar. Cédric Bakambu has been leading the charge for the DRC in the buildup to the decisive match and after an underwhelming performance in Kinshasa, the Olympique Marseille forward stated his side is confident for a kind of match that is why “we love football”.

Leopards manager Héctor Cúper, known for not adjusting his tactics for the opponent, may make an exception for this match according to LeopardsActu. The Argentine may be considering a change in formation to get talented players such as Elia Meschack, Théo Bongonda and Gaël Kakuta into his starting eleven, all of whom did not start the first leg.
