Morocco manager Vahid Halilhodžić did excellently to guide the Atlas Lions to the 2022 FIFA World Cup but would not go as far as predicting his team or another African team to take the trophy in Qatar. The Bosnian gave credit to African football by acknowledging that some of the world’s best players compete for the continent’s national sides and stated that within twelve years the World Cup may see an African champion.
