Twelve of Africa’s national teams will be looking to snatch a spot in the semifinals and guaranteed qualification for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup when the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations kicks off in Morocco on July 2. The semifinalists will seal their spot at the world showcase co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand while two additional teams will qualify for the intercontinental playoff.
