Mali appoints new coaches for youth national teams

With qualifying for various national team competitions set to ramp up in the coming months, many of Africa’s footballing associations are finalizing their staff appointments including Mali. The Malian Football Federation (FEMAFOOT) announced who will lead its under-17, under-20, under-23 and local-based national teams with Nouhoum Diané being named as manager of the Local Eagles. Diané is set to manage the domestic-based national side in qualifying for the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) which will begin in July.

The 57-year-old knows the local scene well in Malian football with spells at Stade Malien, Djoliba and AS Real Bamako as well as past experience leading the Local Eagles at the 2020 CHAN. CAF Online has all of the managerial appointments from FEMAFOOT in the link below.
