Tuesday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying draw was not ideal for Uganda, who were placed with difficult teams from all of the pots in Group F including 2019 AFCON champions Algeria. Uganda Cranes manager Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic acknowledged the challenge that awaits his side in a group that also includes Tanzania and Niger but expressed confidence that the Cranes can achieve qualification with a spot in the top-2.
