With a qualifying group containing star-studded Algeria, Niger and neighbors Uganda it will be difficult for the Taifa Stars of Tanzania to navigate their way to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. While many supporters in the country are expecting a good showing in qualifying, Tanzania are actually the lowest ranked side in the group and will have to be at their best to have a chance of making it into a top-2 spot in the final stretch.
