The initial eleven player shortlist has been trimmed down to three for the Prix Marc-Vivien Foé, the award named in honor of the Cameroon national team midfielder given to the top player in France’s Ligue 1 who represents an African national team. Two members from Stade Rennais are nominated including Morocco national team center back Nayef Aguerd and right back Hamari Traoré as well as RC Lens center back Seko Fofana, who represents Ivory Coast.
