Madagascar coach Nicolas Dupuis released a preliminary list of 27 players for the Barea’s opening 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana and Angola early next month. Familiar names including forward Carolus Andriamahitsinoro and Paulin Voavy as well as midfielders Loïc Lapoussin and Rayan Raveloson will be involved as the Barea look to make their return to the AFCON after missing out in the 2021 edition. The team will gather in France on May 27 for training before heading to Ghana to take on the Black Stars on May 1 and then hosting Angola on May 5.
