19-year-old Gambian starlet Alieu Fadera has moved on to the next level of European football after a successful stint in Slovakia with FK Pohronie. The winger/forward completed his transfer to Belgian football with top division side SV Zulte Waregem and made his debut as a late substitute earlier in the week. Fadera had five goals and four assists in 31 appearances for Pohronie as the club finished in 9th place in the 2020-21 Slovak Super Liga season and earned his first call up to the Gambia senior national team, not making an appearance due to Covid-19 related issues in preventing Pohronie from releasing him.
Pan-Africa Football scouted Fadera during his 2020-21 campaign. Check here to check out the scouting report.
