AFC Ajax and Cameroon national team goalkeeper André Onana made headlines in February of 2021 when he was hit with an initial 12-month ban after testing positive for Furosemide. Onana’s ban was reduced to nine months on appeal, allowing him to return in time to take part as the starting keeper when Cameroon hosts the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, but the 25-year-old continues to maintain his innocence.
