Burkina Faso forward Bandé completes permanent transfer to Ligue 2 club Amiens

Burkina Faso national team forward Hassane Bandé has finally moved on from Ajax Amsterdam after a couple of seasons on loan away from the Dutch giants, securing a permanent move to French Ligue 2 side Amiens this week. The 23-year-old Ouagadougou native spent the previous two seasons in Croatian football with NK Istra 1961 where he accumulated 8 goals and 2 assists in 50 appearances. Bandé will hope to secure regular first team football after failing to make an impression with Ajax and signed a contract for three years with Amiens.

Despite inconsistent playing time in his club career, Bandé has established himself as a key player in the Burkina Faso national team with 2 goals in 23 appearances including the winning goal in a 1-0 victory for Les Étalons against Cape Verde at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year. The Salitas youth product made his name at Belgian club KV Mechelen where he burst onto the scene with 12 goals and 2 assists in 27 games as a 19-year-old before securing his move to Ajax.
