African goal contributions in UEFA competition: July 27

UEFA club competition continued its qualifying rounds on Wednesday and more exciting match winners arrived from African players. Ghanaian forward Owusu Kwabena provided an extra time winner for Qarabağ FK to help the Azeri champions triumph over Swiss club FC Zürich and move on to the Third Qualifying Round of the UEFA Champions League. Top Hungarian club Ferencváros had African national team players contribute on all four of their goals in a dominant road victory against Slovan Bratislava to advance and put themselves a step closer to reach the group stage of the Champions League.
