Goals and assists from African players in the Middle East: September 21-24

Ghanaian attacker Bernard Mensah is one of the many African players who have benefited from a move to the Middle East and the former Feyenoord Ghana (now WAFA) graduate is now thriving in the Saudi Pro League. The 28-year-old scored a hat-trick for Al-Tai in their 3-4 defeat at Al-Ettifaq last Thursday and now has four goals in his last two matches for the club that is becoming well known for its African stars. Mensah has only made one appearance for Ghana’s Black Stars since earning four appearances as a promising starlet in 2015 but could find a way into the thoughts of Ghana national team manager Chris Hughton if he continues his form.
