Many thought that Eric Choupo-Moting’s usefulness for Bayern Munich might have expired but the Cameroonian international has filled in admirably to distract Bayern’s supporters from the departure of Robert Lewandowski. The 33-year-old forward now has six goals and three assists in his last five matches and joined reigning CAF Player of the Year Sadio Mané in contributing to Bayern’s 6-2 demolition of Mainz over the weekend.
