Between all of Europe’s top leagues, the English FA Cup and leagues in the Middle East there were numerous goals and assists provided by players representing African national teams over the weekend. Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen continued his hot streak with a finish out of the top drawer in Napoli’s victory over Roma while Super Eagles teammate Ademola Lookman maintained his scoring pace with yet another goal for Atalanta. Kodjo Laba of Togo national team fame is always scoring for Emirati club Al Ain and he had some assistance from fellow African Soufiane Rahimi and Kouame Autonne in the club’s dominating 5-1 victory over Ajman.
