In this week’s compilation of goals and assists from African players abroad in Europe and the Middle East, Senegal national team striker Habib Diallo is in the spotlight for his excellent 2022-23 season with Strasbourg in France’s Ligue 1. Playing on a team that is battling relegation can be quite the challenge for a forward but the 27-year-old Génération Foot youth product continues to thrive. Diallo scored both goals in Strasbourg’s 2-1 victory over fellow relegation battlers Angers on Saturday, boosting his season total to twelve goals and being named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Week.
It should go without saying that dominant Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen once again for Serie A leaders Napoli, making it five matches in a row for the native of Lagos.
